Parachute Egg Drop
Use recycled materials to create a parachute as protection for an egg to enable it to survive being dropped from a certain height (e.g. 2 metres). The goal is to land the egg as slowly and softly as possible.
Catapult
You need to move some materials from one place to another with the help of a simple machine. Keeping what you know about force and motion in mind, your challenge is to design two catapults and test which one can move your materials the furthest.
Balloon Powered Vehicle
Turn a pile of trash into a toy car—and watch it go! Design and build your own balloon-powered car that will travel as far and fast as possible.
Spaghetti Bridge
Construct a free standing bridge out of spaghetti, strong enough to support a bag of 1kg sugar (or other household consumables).

Design and build your own arcade game and invite your family to play the game!
Spaghetti Tower
To test your design ideas for the tallest skyscraper in the world, you will build the tallest free-standing structure in just 30 minutes using no more than 20 sticks of spaghetti, one yard of tape, one yard of string, and one marshmallow. The marshmallow must be on top and cannot be deformed to hold it in place. The structure has to stand firmly on its own; it cannot be propped up, held, or suspended from the ceiling.
